Draft notice: This document is a working draft. It must be reviewed and approved by a licensed attorney before FamilyOS is used publicly.

FamilyOS ("we," "our," "us"), operated by [Legal Entity Name], is a family wellness product built to help you organize pregnancy, postpartum, baby, mood, fertility, nutrition, faith, and family life. Your pregnancy, fertility, baby, mood, and family data is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Read this Privacy Policy together with our Terms of Use, Medical Disclaimer, AI Disclaimer, Postpartum Disclaimer, Fertility Disclaimer, Nutrition Disclaimer, Cookie Policy, Accessibility Statement, and Account Deletion Policy.

What we collect

  • Account information such as your name, email, role, and timezone.
  • Content you create — appointments, journal entries, symptoms, checklists, reminders, mood check-ins, baby logs, postpartum recovery notes, and questions.
  • Pregnancy, fertility, baby, and mood data you choose to record.
  • AI conversations you have with FamilyOS AI (saved to your account so you can revisit sessions).
  • Device and usage information necessary to keep the product secure and reliable.
  • Legal acceptances and consent records tied to your account.

Sensitive data

We treat pregnancy, fertility, postpartum, mood, baby, medical, and family-life data as sensitive by default, even where a specific law does not require it. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How we use your information

  • To provide, personalize, and improve FamilyOS.
  • To send reminders, notifications, and product updates you opt into.
  • To keep FamilyOS secure and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and defend our rights.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not use your health, pregnancy, fertility, mood, or family data for targeted advertising.
  • We do not share your data with partners without your explicit permission.

Partner sharing

Partner access is opt-in and permission-based. You control which areas of your FamilyOS data — such as appointments, journal, symptoms, vitals, or mood — a partner can see, and you can revoke access at any time.

AI and third-party providers

FamilyOS may use trusted service providers for hosting, error monitoring, analytics, and AI. Where AI providers process your inputs, we work to limit sensitive data exposure and do not permit training on your sensitive content without your consent. See our AI Disclaimer.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time.
  • Manage notifications and partner sharing from settings.
  • Close your account and remove your data via our Account Deletion Policy.
  • Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, we honor them and any recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data in transit and at rest, including row-level access controls that scope your data to your account. No online service is perfectly secure, so we work continuously to strengthen ours.

Children

FamilyOS is designed for adults planning for, expecting, or caring for a child. You may add information about your baby or family members. FamilyOS is not intended for use by children as account holders.

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. Material changes will be communicated in-app before they take effect. Privacy questions: [privacy@familyos.example]. Mailing address: [Mailing Address].
